What We Do
Provide programs & services
One in five people in NS & PEI are currently struggling to breathe. In order to help prevent lung disease and help people cope with their diagnosis, we provide support groups, equipment programs, lung transplant support, smoking cessation programs, send kids to summer camp, and more
Fund lung health research
We provide financial support for research projects that generate evidence, outcomes, and/or knowledge and its translation into improved respiratory health and health services for Nova Scotians and Islanders
Advocate for lung health
Lung health is complex and requires ongoing advocacy efforts. We advocate for people living with lung disease by ensuring access to medications, ensuring policies smoking, vaping and radon, there are a variety of lung health issues that we continue to take action on.
