Congratulations Are in Order!
Nova Scotians & Islanders will soon have shorter wait time for lung disease diagnosis, creating better patient outcomes.
In February 2022 we officially launched our “Double Your Impact Campaign”.The goal of this campaign was to raise a minimum $32,500 dollars that would be matched, dollar for dollar, up to the total cost of purchasing an additional endobronchial ultrasound machine (EBUS) for use right here at home.
Because of our amazing, committed and generous donors we accomplished our goal, and, we cannot thank you enough. You made this possible.
This equipment is critical for diagnosing lung disease like lung cancer.Nova Scotians faced some of the longest wait times to have this, minimally invasive, procedure in Canada. The additional equipment will mean that more patients will have this procedure sooner, receive an accurate diagnosis and get to optimal treatment faster – ultimately saving lives.
At the Lung Association of NS & PEI we are always looking for practical and impactful ways to invest in lung health. This is one such example. The purchase of this equipment will make a big impact.Thank you.

My breathing became easier, the coughing subsided, and, incredibly, my energy returned. It’s been a life-changing experience. I feel more like myself again better than I’ve felt in years. If you or a loved one…
