2SLGBTQIA+ Survey and Focus Group Opportunities
Did you know?
Gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals are 1.3-1.6 times more likely to be smokers than heterosexuals. Reasons for higher smoking rates included stigma, discrimination, and oppression; social norms of this community; targeted marketing from the tobacco industry; and a lack of access and adequacy of health services for the community.

We understand that a ‘one size fits all’ smoking cessation program does not work well. By fully understanding the specific needs and difficulties faced by the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, together we can create smoking cessation programs that consider factors unique to your community.
