Camp Treasure Chest was started in 1989 for kids with asthma. Over 30 years later, the camp is now offered to kids with lung disease and anaphylaxis, in partnership with Brigadoon Village
Campers have the opportunity to meet other children with lung disease/ anaphylaxis and participate in fun, educational and physically-active adventures, while being supervised by caring counselors and medical professionals.
At Camp Treasure Chest, children form bonds and lasting friendships with other kids just like them.
The Lung Association sends experts to the camp to help teach campers on how to manage their disease. Ultimately, our campers have fun, never feel isolated, create memories they can cherish forever, and ultimately breathe easier…
